Air quality stripes
Most people are pretty familar with Ed Hawkins climate stripes. Recently he posted in Linkedin a new version that shows air quality stripes! I had a look at the air quality stripes of the places where I live and work. Unfortunately the data is quite coarse and only shows capital cities. Copenhagen was quite dirty in the 60s but the air is quite pure now:
Stockholm has seen very pure air most of the time:
It would be interesting to see the evolution of air quality for more local spots, but historical data for such a long period is scarce. Maybe some data can be found in the Copernicus Data Service website for the CAMS European Air Quality forecast
