Atmospheric and data scientist working in numerical weather prediction. I trained as an astrophysicist and theoretical physicist in a past life, but I have been working on weather modelling since 2009, including ensemble weather forecasting, wind energy, computational fluid dynamics and data assimilation. I write mostly about weather, but I am interested in a variety of different topics from weight lifting to meditation.
